Why don't you just use a Garmin compatible mount?

We have to assume, just as likely Wahoo, Lezyne, Karoo and others may have, that Garmin's mount interface geometry is Garmin's mount interface geometry and belongs to them as intellectual property. While it would be nice to be "compatible", it's simply not practical for us.
